We recently we went out to see Ian Wilson from Wilson & Gilkes for a tour around their new office in Moorebank, New South Wales.
The new office houses over 35 staff overlooking Lake Moore and gum trees – a very tranquil environment for dreaming up new designs to take the Australian Education market to new heights.
Wilson & Gilkes have been around since 1947 and are local designers and manufacturers of audiovisual equipment.
Recently they have launched an all-new colour range for Lock & Dock lap top trolleys. They have also been running a Facebook election, where schools get to nominate their favourite ‘healthy choice flavour’. You can visit their Facebook page here.
Another of their innovative designs is their Free Frame whiteboards have also been a popular choice with schools that want to share whiteboards and need maximum flexibility.
Wilson & Gilkes are big believers in local manufacturing; they design and manufacture their products in Moorebank with range of machinery including their TRUMPF laser and bending machines.
