Machine Installation Process

We take care of our customers every step of the way, from the initial installation through to the end of the machines life or re-sale. With our experienced team of field service engineers based all over Australia, you’ll always have support, should you need it.

Please have a look through our step-by-step guide below, which talks you through the installation process.

Step 1: Machine installation requirements

Our National Operations Manager will be in touch to make sure that your workplace has the correct installation requirements. He may also organise a site visit to assess the environment. If you have any questions regarding the machine foundation, transportation, crane hire for unloading and positioning, installation, consumables, rubbish removal or training, please feel free to ask us.

Step 2: Confirm delivery date and time

Richard will contact you prior to the delivery date. He will also run through the installation checklist to ensure that you’re fully comfortable and ready to install and accept the machine by the planned date.

Step 3: Delivery of machine

Your machine will arrive on site via a reputable transportation company. When everything is in place, user training and/or machine software training will be provided as per quotation.

Our service engineer will talk you through and sign the final commission report.
Please note: the machine must be signed off before it is released into production.

Step 4: Feedback

When the machine installation and training have been completed, a Headland Customer Service Representative will contact you to answer a few short questions so that we can be sure that you’re satisfied with the machine installation process. Please do not hesitate in providing feedback to help us support you better in the future.
