Euroblech 2014, provided the perfect backdrop for suppliers of leading machinery to showcase their new technology to the world.
This year showcased some amazing new innovation and creativity that will soon change the way you do things. The new products are said to increase productivity, efficiency and accuracy.
Kaltenbach, one of the newest fabrication suppliers to join Headland presented the newly revised punching and shearing machine KPS-A. This machine is said to not only operate with greater precision but it will also save you time. It also comes with a new option, a vertical drilling axe unit, for the fully-automatic circular saw.
Another of Headland’s new suppliers, STUDER, also had new technology on show at Euroblech. The S141 was on display as STUDER’s new universal internal cylindrical grinding machine. The company says, “the S141 is the ideal machine for grinding spindle shafts, spindle housings, rotor shafts or axes.” The S141 can operate best with “long work pieces up to 1300 mm with an additional steady-rest… although short work pieces with an overhung grinding spindle is also possible. The maximum internal grinding length is 250 mm while the external length is 150 mm.”
OMAX also displayed their redesigned MAXIEM 1515 Jet Machining Center, as well as the OMAX 60120 Jet Machining Center with a new EnduroMAX Pump. A demonstration of the new products at the exhibition showed onlookers the versatility of the machines. They can cut simple to complex shapes from a variety of materials, such as exotic alloys, traditional metals and rubber. It does this with speed and accuracy.
TRUMPF also showcased a wide range of new technology such as the TruLaser Tube 5000, a productive all-round machine for laser tube cutting. They had an amazing display that advertised many new innovations coming our way shortly.
