Headland Austech 2019

Headland looks forward once again to showcasing our leading edge technology solutions at Austech 2019; Australia’s pre-eminent manufacturing and machine tool event being held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 14-17 May.

Celebrating 70 years of providing innovative technology solutions to the manufacturing and machine tool industry in Australia, Headland will be offering one-on-one demonstrations with our technicians on a range of machinery [as well as our exciting new field-based software program, NextService].

Headland will have three stands this year at Austech 2019 to reflect our unique offerings.

The Advanced Manufacturing stand

Let our technicians walk you through the outstanding Mimaki 3D Colour Printer. With over 10 million colours on the palette, and extraordinary modelling capacity, it’s an impressive offering with extraordinary colour expression for those looking at the leading edge of manufacturing technology.

Starting with metal powder and laser light, the incredible and compact TruPrint 1000 is ideal for the production of small metal components through laser metal fusion technology; quickly producing components of virtually any geometric shape. Perfect for small industrial single parts and series.

Waterjet stand

When precision is critical, the Maxiem waterjet range is the gold standard. Able to cut through virtually any material and thickness at incredible speed, this low maintenance and high reliability waterjet is a superb manufacturing tool. The Maxiem 1530 model will be on display.

Also at the waterjet stand will be the ProtoMAX. With 30,000 psi pump pressure the ProtoMAX is able to cut through metal, glass, wood, plastic, and other material under 1 in. thickness within a 12×12 in. cutting area. With features you’d expect from CAD packages, this is a fantastic option.

Main Headland stand

Where power, accuracy, speed and reliability are at a premium, the Makino PS105 is redefining the standard for vertical machining centre excellence in the aerospace, medical, automotive and general manufacturing sectors. Let our technicians walk you through it.

See the TRUMPF TruLaser 5030 at work – known for its high productivity and part quality, this machine can tackle a wide variety of materials. It’s the most economical solution for highly productive processing, with minimal non-productive time and optimum energy efficiency.

Struggling with the demands of warehouse, office or industrial storage? The Hanel Rotomat will be on display to radically change the way you utilise your work space. The carousel solution uses height to free up warehouse space – offering up to 60% more work space thanks to its compact design. Our experts will be on site to discuss your storage needs, giving you insight into solutions offered by both Hanel and Stopa, depending on your requirements.

TRUMPF Smart Factory Virtual Reality – using HTC glasses take a simulated tour of a modern innovative factory floor. See how people, machines, automation and software interact perfectly with one another in a mind-blowing simulation experience.

Winners of the prestigious Bosch Venture Award, Spee3D is an impressive machine, printing 3D metals at high speed, without the need for complex modelling or redesign. Functional and simple, this machine makes parts that are used in the industry today. Simply load your file and print!

You’ll find us at three stand locations this year:

  • Headland Stand #910
  • OMAX Stand #960
  • Advanced Manufacturing Stand #AM15
