Quality Equipment & Reliable Service make decision easy for ARB

ARB philosophy – quality, reliability and practicality above all else.

With their long-standing philosophy in mind, ARB stay ahead of competition with heavy investment in design R&D and continual research and investment into new ways to automate and streamline processes.

This month we chatted to David Wentworth, Manager at ARB, about their recent purchases of the TRUMPF TruBend 7036 and TRUMPF TruLaser 3030 and how this helps them achieve just that.

As the largest manufacturer and distributor of 4×4 accessories in Australia, staying ahead of the competition is key.

“We are continually looking at new equipment and automation to increase efficiencies. We invest a lot in production engineering, research & development of product design and we are also looking at new systems of automation streamlining.”

“There are many aspects we consider when purchasing new equipment for our factory, the main one being machine reliability. We have some older machines but as the company is growing we need to respond to demands with improved productivity.”

Standardised machinery across the factory floor with TRUMPF Trulaser 3030.

“We aim to standardise the machinery we have on the factory floor, a few months ago we added our fifth TruLaser machine to our already existing fleet in response to company growth. The decision to purchase the TruLaser was easy – the quality of TRUMPF machines is well known and we have come to rely on that, but on top of that we are familiar with the software and the process of the machines.”

“Not only are we familiar with the machines, the software and the process, but we also work closely with our local supplier Headland who we know we can rely on for quality service almost 24/7. As a factory that runs almost 24/6, having a local supplier that we can count on after hours was a big consideration for us. The Headland team have provided proactive and focussed support across the sales process, software and spare parts. ”

ARB continue to streamline and automate their processes in response to demand in increased efficiencies.
